Hey, there! I hope you’re having a wonderful start to the month of June!
Pajamas are one of my favorite baby clothes to buy. They’re just so cute + snuggly and there’s really nothing better than putting a freshly washed babe in bedtime jammies. Now that it’s summer, I’ve been on the hunt for some new short jammies for my little guy. He already sweats like crazy in his sleep, so getting a few more pairs of short sleeves + shorts pajamas was a must for summer!
I first started switching to non toxic beauty products after reading The Honest Life by Jessica Alba. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know I’m a big fan of her company the Honest Company, especially their cute non toxic diapers and wipes (I talk more about them here). Reading that book really opened my eyes to the amount of toxic chemicals that are found in our everyday lives, especially beauty products!
When you want to look pulled together + be extremely comfortable, the boyfriend blouse is the perfect outfit option. The oversized button front top hangs loose and flowy and can just as easily be dressed up for Friday date night or dressed down for a Saturday barbecue…
It breaks my heart watching my little guy in teething pain + grasping at anything and everything he can get his hands on to bite on for some relief. I remember days when he would go through 3+ drool bibs because he was teething so bad. Teething stages come and go, but over the past year I’ve found some of the best baby teethers for each stage that really helped my little guy (and his mama) get through some tough teething days! Hopefully, some of our favorites will become some of your favorites too + help your teething little babe feel better!
A white tee + jeans is like the perfect blank canvas for creating endless outfit options. From sneakers + baseball hats to sweaters + sandals, you can create an array of outfit options from this classic pairing by just adding the right combination of add-ons.
I hope you’re having a wonderful week. It’s finally warming up outside + it has me so excited to start wearing short sleeve tees again and happily leaving my coat at home! I’ve been on the search for some good basic short sleeve tees for spring and summer and am sharing my favorites today as part of my “Recent Finds” series.
One of my favorite ways to spice up an outfit or add a pop of color to a look is with simple, standout accessories (hint: it’s #7 on my fail-proof list for effortless style). I've been loving the latest bandana scarf craze, especially when worn in your hair. Whether it’s a statement red or subdued navy, the bandana scarf adds a trendy edge to any outfit. Here are two simple + stylish ways to get in on this trend and tie a bandana scarf in your hair.
If you’ve read my bio (if not, you can check it out here), then you know I’ve spent the past 7+ years using food & lifestyle changes to fight chronic illness. Throughout this journey, it’s become a passion of mine to find little ways to live healthier without sacrificing all the things I’ve come to love.
From yummy foods to fav makeup finds, ‘Healthy Living Swaps’ is where I’m going to share my favorite ways to live healthier + enjoy doing it! First up, Chips + Salsa!
It’s effortless. It’s comfy. It’s the epitome of casual + cool vibes... it’s the boyfriend tee.
Jeans + boyfriend tee is one of my go-to momiform looks (ie. an easy throw it on & go outfit that looks effortless yet pulled-together), but styling the oversized top isn’t always that easy.
They say you change a baby’s diaper an average of 7 times per day for the first year.... I can remember some days at least double that when my little guy was a newborn! That’s a lot of diaper changing!
When you do something that often, you quickly find that some things work (& others don’t). Here are my tried + true 7 diaper changing essentials that I recommend to any new mommy and daddy out there!
Early this week I shared 3 Non-Maternity Pieces to Wear During Pregnancy (+ Postpartum), so I thought I should also share the 1 Non-Maternity piece that I DON'T recommend wearing. I know because I tried & it didn't work out so well.. but it did make for a funny story! Read on to find out...
I noticed some of my all-time maternity + nursing favs are on sale this week at the Gap, (40% off everything through April 4 w/code: SOGOOD) so I wanted to share them below. These are great foundational basic tees + tops to build your maternity wardrobe with non-maternity pieces you already have! If you ever have any sizing/fit questions, find me over on Instagram and ask away!
#1 Flannels + Chambray

tie around waist to accentuate your waist (or camouflage any postpartum bloating)
In hopes of saving you a few hours of dressing room time, I'm starting a series where I share all of my "Recent Finds" + why I love them! A "Recent Find" will always be something that I've actually purchased myself and either can't wait to wear or have already been wearing and loving for weeks.
The baseball hat has been a long-time fav accessory of mine. I love the effortless vibe it brings to an outfit, the way it elevates an otherwise simple look, and how it gives me an extra few days in between hair washes. Yes, please!
Sometimes it’s tricky knowing how to style your hair with a baseball hat so you end up looking more effortlessly chic and less grungy mess. Here’s three fool proof ways to do it! [each with their own unique vibe]
