2 Ways to Style a Black Sweater & Jeans Outfit

2 Ways to Style a Black Sweater & Jeans Outfit

Whether it’s a turtleneck, cowl neck, fitted or oversized… the black sweater is a perfectly quintessential classic & chic choice for any winter outing. It combines the best of both worlds by bringing together both the timeless & chic vibes of the color black with the casual & cozy comfiness of a sweater. A black sweater has been a long-time closet staple of mine, and this updated oversized-sleeves-meets-turtleneck version feels like just the right combo of classic yet trendy for this winter season.

Here’s two ways to style this black sweater & jeans outfits by simply switching out the accessories.

2 Ways to Style Black Sweater & Jeans Outfits

#1 Tan Booties + Leopard Belt

Front tuck your sweater to elongate your frame & show off a peek at your leopard print belt, which slims your entire figure by showcasing waistline underneath the oversized sweater. Finish off the outfit with a pair of tan pointed-toe booties to tie into the leopard belt & really brings the whole look together.

STYLE TIP: A turtleneck + statement earrings combo is always a good idea. The high neck creates the perfect backdrop to show off the statement earring. I chose a simple silver hoop earring with these outfits, but a bolder earring would have worked just as well!

#2 Black Booties + Statement Bracelet

Sock booties have been a major trend these past couple seasons & I don’t see them slowing down anytime soon. The chunkier heel of this pair makes it a fun addition to this outfit & your overall wardrobe. Finish off your look with a statement bracelet & don’t forget that your jeans can be rolled on the outside of a sock bootie (as opposed to tucking them in) to create a chic, street style vibe— like I did with this outfit here.
